Praying for you and your family today. There is no other love like that of a sister. I know you are proud of your sister and I know she was proud of you. From reading everything on her blogs she has left an awesome legacy! God will continue to bless you all as you faithfully look to him.

Karen,
We've been keeping up with your family via Robyn McNabb. We are so deeply sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine the strength your family must have. Billy and I are keeping you in our prayers. It has been ages since we have seen you but we both have great memories! I hope you continue to heal and just wanted to let you know that you are someone special to a family in Pocahontas!
Love,
Cyndi Jenkins Coates

Dear Karen,
I met you when I was in high school and you lived across the hall in Galloway from my sister, Mary-Margaret. I met you again a few years ago, at Thanksgiving, when Kim was in Fayetteville after having her first surgery. I came to see her and she was at the mall with Mark and the kids, so I hung out at your house and visited with you and your Mom. I loved that visit. I think you and your mom are so warm and friendly. You make people feel at ease. You are both so real and down to earth and beautiful! Thank you for letting me visit that afternoon. Karen, I am so sorry that you lost your sister. I lost my brother a few years back and it is so hard to lose a sibling. I know I can't understand your pain because our situations are very different. I just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking about you and praying for you. I am so sorry that you are having to experience terrible grief while dealing with your own health issues. I know that is doubly hard. Please keep blogging so we can see how things will improve and that you will beat this nasty gene!

Sending love from Jonesboro,
